Dear Healthcare Industry Professionals,
As the peak of the coronavirus outbreak approaches on the east coast, Case Medical has decided to implement a brief manufacturing hiatus. From Monday, April 6 to Thursday, April 9, we will close our manufacturing facility and cease production and shipping. Most of our office staff will continue to work remotely during this time. Friday, April 10 is a scheduled holiday and we plan to reopen on Monday, April 13.
In recent weeks, we have extended work hours and added weekend shifts to keep pace with orders, while staggering shifts and work locations to maintain healthy distancing. As we close out the week, we will ship as many orders as possible through the end of the day on Friday. Some orders expected to ship next week may ship early, though others may be delayed by a few days.
You may continue to place orders throughout this time via phone or email. Because Customer Service staff are working remotely, we will not be able to process fax orders during this time. If you have any questions about an existing order, they will be able to help you.
Focus on safety
During this time, our production employees will get a well-deserved break and observe a more aggressive isolation strategy, keeping themselves and their families as safe as possible. We will take the opportunity to deep clean and sanitize our production environment in anticipation of the return to work.
Our goal is to maintain a safe workplace for our employees and continue to manufacture and deliver products that help healthcare workers and facilities deliver high quality care in difficult times. We hope that this will not cause any undue hardship and look forward to serving you in any way we can.
